Music is going towards commercial sounds and has been since years. The music industry because they are loosing sales on cd's are pushing artists to be more commercial to make hits. This is understandable on their part, but the music world has lost a lot of power and inovation. Many young people come to me and tell me that they do not listen to today's music, that it is too commercial. Most of today's music has only 3 minute songs, no more time changes, or different musical parts. The minds of listeners do not know that their mind is getting used to the bubble gum music.
When someone who is used to bubble gum music listens to a good band, they do not understand anymore because their brain is not used to intelligent and complicated music and they get bored! If you are a musician, do not go commercial, but make the musical world advance, you will be rewarded in the long run! Most of today's music will be completely forgotten in ten years! They will not make history!
